Countdown: 100 Days!

Just 100 days until the release of Kingdom Above the Cloud! It is coming so fast, and there is still so much to do.

What’s going on now?

Currently, the book is in the graphic design phase. An artist is working on the cover, and another designer is laying out the inside of the book.

But the big news: PREORDERS ARE LIVE ON AMAZON! Check it out here. That means you can purchase the book any time, and it will be delivered to your door when it is released on April 17th.

What’s next?

In the coming weeks, I should be receiving some proofs of cover designs (I get to participate a bit in the process, but it is mostly out of my hands… which is good because I have ZERO artistic ability!)

Once I have a cover and my Amazon page looks a bit prettier, there will be a big push for pre-orders. There will be some give-aways and prizes, which I can’t share yet. BUT, I’m pretty excited about them! And don’t worry, if you preorder before the give-aways are announced, you’ll still be included.

By the end of February, I’ll start recruiting my launch team. I’ll be looking for friends near and far who are excited about this book! Those who join will get an exclusive early copy of the book, a behind-the-scenes look at marketing a new novel, and access to a private online community dedicated to this launch. There will be tasks to complete during the lead up to the launch and the week after (like posting an honest review on your favorite site, such as Amazon or GoodReads.) If this sounds like you, be on the look out in a few weeks! I need you!

Next week I will be posting about another group of readers that I’m looking for: beta readers who are willing to read both the first book and my draft of the 2nd and give feedback. More about that next week!
